The Face in Cincinnati Country Music

Shane Daniels was born in Independence, KY and now lives in Alexandria, KY.  He started singing, and performing at a young age in his church and fell in love with entertaining.  As the only son of a Baptist preacher, he had to "walk a thin line" with the type of music he was drawn to.  He was raised on artists like Elvis and Conway, but he had a passion for the "renegades" of seventy and eighties country.  His family and especially his father (once he realized Shane wasn't giving in), jumped on board to support his dreams.  They had spent countless hours, time, and money to get him into some large Opry Houses to showcase the talent he had.  He competed a few times, though competition isn't his thing,  (He's rather just get out there and find a crowd that's ready to raise some hell and go with it) and did very well.  He was told by several of the house owners that he needs to get a band together to play locally and find his own sound. Well, Shane and his band have been together going on eight years and have been tearing up the Greater Cincinnait Music Scene with their style of what they like to call "CINCYCOUNTRY".  They have had the opportunity to open for Emerson Drive, Tanya Tucker, Neal McCoy, and T. Graham Brown, and have been making quite a name in the area becomig known as "The Face in Cincinnati Country Music". 

Shane considers himself an entertainer.  He plays his accoustic, keeping rythym like he knows what he's doing but honestly, he doesn't want to be a guitar player...never has. His voice, energy, and personality on stage is what he prefers people to remember him for.  The band and Shane stay buzy throughout the year in the Cincinnati area perfoming at local watering holes, and honky tonks, with the occasional festival or so in the summer months.

Currnetly, Shane is working on his first full length CD titled "The Night the Angels Cried" that he is pushing to have completed by the fall of 2008.  His style of music is compared to that of Kenny Chesney and modern country but his roots run a lot deeper than that.  Shane loves the Outlaw Country and Southern Rock-n-Roll sound that just drives the hell out of ya and makes you move, he is making sure his first CD doesn't sound like the "same old pop country" that's coming out of Nashville. 

These guys know their stuff.  If you get a chance to see them, take it.  You will enjoy the time you spend with them.  They are one of many great acts in the Cincinnati area that will keep you drinkin', dancin', and screamin' for more.
