Shackleton formed in Salt Lake City, Ut in 2005.  It's members have played in other Salt Lake bands such as Even Lower, Left For Dead, Repeat Offender, Racket and others.  Bringing their varied influences and tastes into the project they have created a three piece that surprises crowds with it's energy and fullness of sound.   The band has devolped a dedicated local following from their live performances which often verge on frantic in their energy.  They will be playing two last performances for the year, before taking some time away from performing to write a new album for release in 2008.  Shackleton has played with such touring acts as the Street Dogs, Far from Finished, The Rebel Spell, The Tossers.
