Serotonal is a band created in 2004 by Darren White, Jon Francis-White and Gary Hill. Darren White was the original singer of Anathema, one of the forerunners of British doom metal and later The Blood Divine. Darren also made a guest appearance on Cradle of Filth’s first album ‘The Principle of Evil Made Flesh.’  

At the end of 2004, Francis-White, Hill and White got together to try out some of their ideas, and in 2004 they recorded their first few tracks. The promo is suitably entitled, The End of Everything, which is currently available online via itunes.

In 2005, along with new drummer Simon Monkhouse, Serotonal recorded and released the EP The Futility of Trying to Avoid the Unavoidable through Metal Breath Production, which has since been re-released in August 2007, developing much interest and attention in Europe. The EP is available on many online stores, from 28/01/08 the E.P. will be available to buy from HMV and Zavvi high street retail stores.

Serotonal are currently working on material for their first full length album with new member, Andy Heath (bass).

Serotonal have also been confirmed to play the Basinfire Festival, Czech Rep on the 27/06/08 and also the Noc Plna Hvezd Festival, Czech Rep on the 28/06/08 with such bands as:

Queensryche, 3 Inches Of Blood, Paul Di’Anno (ex Iron Maiden), Nazareth and Death Angel.

They are currently awaiting feedback from further festivals in Germany, Austria, Czech Rep, Slovenia and the UK during the summer and winter of 2008. Efforts are currently ongoing regarding shows to be performed in coming months.
