Serotonal is a band created in 2004 by Darren White, Jon Francis-White and Gary Hill. Darren White was the original singer of Anathema, one of the forerunners of British doom metal and later The Blood Divine. Darren also made a guest appearance on Cradle of Filth’s first album ‘The Principle of Evil Made Flesh.’
At the end of 2004, Francis-White, Hill and White got together to try out some of their ideas, and in 2004 they recorded their first few tracks. The promo is suitably entitled, The End of Everything, which is currently available online via itunes.
In 2005, along with new drummer Simon Monkhouse, Serotonal recorded and released the EP The Futility of Trying to Avoid the Unavoidable through Metal Breath Production, which has since been re-released in August 2007, developing much interest and attention in
Serotonal are currently working on material for their first full length album with new member, Andy Heath (bass).
Serotonal have also been confirmed to play the Basinfire Festival, Czech Rep on the
Queensryche, 3 Inches Of Blood, Paul Di’Anno (ex Iron Maiden),
They are currently awaiting feedback from further festivals in
