Second Monday first started in the early Autumn of 2002. At the age of 15 this Winchester-based quartet started out life writing music from a garage. Imagery their debut album was released in 2006. Imagery demonstrated itself to be a musical journey over its running time of 51 minutes and it quickly garnered glowing reviews. More extensive touring of England followed including a year of touring Germany in 2007.

For Second Monday 2008 and early 2009 was time spent writing a record that is more aggressive, intelligent and mature than any previous effort. The next step was a sound that tells of where they have been, what they've worked for and gives an aural punch-in-the-gut to mediocrity.
