“Kudos to the Second Hand Dogs for pulling together the two elements of a truly successful open mic - 1) a large and diverse roster of participating acts and 2) an attentive and supportive audience with plenty of "civilian" content. As open mics go, last night's open mic at the Visible Voice was a home run.”
“Had a great time. I've already posted a vid, and some comments on the evening's events. On second thought, this would be a good place to repeat the commentary which I posted with the vid. Here are the comments: I quite enjoyed last night's open mic at the Southwest Xpress Cafe in Parma. The two most distinguishing factors of this particular open mic were a great diversity of acts and a considerable "civilian" (non-performer) presence of folks who were obviously there to enjoy and support the music. Kudos to our hosts, the "Second Hand Dogs" trio, for providing good sound, good cheer and smooth programming thruout. Kudos also for their large role in attracting a great cast of performers and supporters. Gary Hall”
