All proceeds from tickets sales and donations raised at the event will go to provide the materials and supplies for the schools. The party will have a few of LA’s finest food trucks, silent and live auction, live performances at 3pm, with a few surprises that you won’t want to miss. This fundraiser will introduce you to Travis and forty of his close friend’s mission to give the gift of education. Team Hollywood is filled with amazing actors, musicians, dancers, stand up comics, and other talent which include Charles Michael Davis, Geoff Stults, Kali Hawk, James Kyson, Quddus, Tommy Savas, Briana Evigan, Erin Cahill just to name a few. The party will highlight the start of a documentary called “GroundWork” produced by Wayfarer Entertainment. A film crew will follow the team as they build schools in Malawi, Nepal, and also highlight a group of inner city youth from Detroit build a school in Haiti, all on a journey to bring literacy to developing countries.

Using ELAC's new Performing & Fine Arts complex will let us place both the outdoor Festival aspect of our event as well as the indoor Literary Program portion in close proximity allowing attendees to realize the entire festival experience. In addition to our activities (Latino authors, seminars, panel discussions, food court, entertainment on the main stage, exhibiting bookstores and publishers, informational booths from the local community) ELAC will be holding their annual Dia de los Muertos celebrations, also in the Performing & Fine Arts Complex.
