Scotty and the Reverbs, according to many music critics, helped define the "Poison Ivy Tea" sound. Incidentally, their first drummer, Sir Leroy McPopkins, pioneered a controversial nose-hair-transplant procedure in the late Seventies before falling to his death outside of Bangor, Maine.
