Scott Alexander is a classically trained bassoonist with a degree in ethnomusicology.

With his unique background, Scott performs a sort of non-repetitive “pop”, where each song constantly evolves without a verse-chorus structure. Nevertheless his demeanor and catchy sound is reminiscent of artists such as Jonathan Richman, David Byrne, Billy Bragg, The Violent Femmes, and Magnetic Fields. In addition, Scott bakes and serves fresh vegan chocolate chip cookies at each performance.
