On November 11, 2008, The Grand EP, the follow-up to Scinx's full length debut, Beautiful Prison, was released by Herocaine Records. The Grand EP is a brilliant record complete with full-colour artwork by Jim Estner of Marcona Graphics. Doc Strange & Smallville, two brilliant hip-hop emcees, made guest appearances on Shotcha and Alls I Really Want, respectively. The disc was mixed and produced by Floyd 'the Barber' Peppers (with Mike Sawitzke marvelously mixing 'Alls I Really Want') and mastered by Justin Weis of Trakworx Mastering (Papa Roach, The Tubes, Lotus Rush). A limited number of copies The Grand EP were pressed.
