Scarecrow Collection brings an all-embracing musical experience, combining catchy rock melodies and lyrics with powerful exploratory improvisations that keep their loyal fans coming back for more. Their sound is a shot of Indie Roots-Rock with a Blues-Americana chaser... a mash-up of The Black Crowes and Paul Simon... A little something for everyone.
In April of last year the band released their second album, 'radio frequency disaster' on Harmonized Records and received national attention by being regularly featured on Sirius and XM satellite radio and most recently the album received the 'Studio Album of the Year for 2007' as voted on by the listeners of Endless Boundaries on Z88.9 (Philadelphia/New Jersey area). The band has collaborated with such notables performers as Clarence Clemons (E Street Band), Jim Donovan (Rusted Root), DJ Logic, Ed Mann (Frank Zappa), Jen Durkin (Deep Banana Blackout / Rhythm Devils), Lo Faber (God Street Wine), Gordon Stone and others.
