Saunter is for survivors. For the last 10 years Saunter has made magical musical memories for themselves and fans alike. Originating as a terrible basement band in a closet at UNC's music school, they've evovled into a brilliant live act and songwriting machine. Special (or scarring) memories have been forged, such as: being flashed by middle-aged biker chicks, the Asian-Jewish wedding gig, and 4am hot tub parties in Virginia with some guy named Chad. Tonight Saunter and their fans celebrate the 10 years they've spent writing and performing original music from their 5 CD releases. Realizing that they've written the best music ever, Saunter has no choice but to stop performing publicly. Tons of free merch will be available too - t-shirts, CD's, beer coozies, hugs from Brian & Paul, etc. Come on out...it's your last chance!
Saunter jams Chapel Hill's finest outdoor beer garden in conjuction with the UNC vs. USC football game. It will a drunken revelry at its best & worst, all in the same night.
Come see the Saunter window display at Schoolkids Records in Chapel Hill, and hear us play some tunes. We'll be rolling acoustic style, so it will be a rare glimpse into the softer side of Saunter. Free show starting at 7PM.
After recording for 5 months, the CD release show is scheduled for Saturday October 6th. Admission includes a copy of "Bustin' Loose", the new album.
