2011 CEA nominated artist, Sassy Molasses sprang from Moriah Haven Lawson's love affair with eclectic tastes in all things sonic. After playing with the likes of local artists such as Wonky Tonk, Chick Pimp, Coke Dealer At A Bar and Billy Wallace and the Virginia Blues, Lawson was seeking a more personal expression for her musical wackiness.
