I am an eclectic recording engineer and software engineer whose musical passions are playing guitar and prog rock (and almost every other genre). This source material was, in some cases, over 30 years old and not the best; in some cases, cassettes.  The sound quality will vary but a good song is a good song and we did the best we could to restore them.    Someday we hope to locate the 24-track masters and remix them.  But until that day...  We kind of like that this is how they were mixed then and originally sounded, no tricks, so, in a way we like that they are original and reflect the times.
