From the sparkling waters and boating scenes frequently captured on canvas, to theater productions and lively live music performances, it would seem the town has cornered the market on all things artistic. Georgetown resident Marlanda Dekine, 21, disagreed. For Dekine, there was one last art that Georgetown had yet to conquer, and she set out to change that. 'I want the city of Georgetown to have a better appreciation of poetry as an art form,' she said.
