About
The California girl recently finished a record with producer, Jeff Trott. Jeff is best known for his work with Sheryl Crow, having penned several of Crow's hit songs such as "Everyday is a Winding Road" and "If it Makes You Happy" as well as was Sheryl's touring guitar player for over a decade. Samantha and Trott's chemistry in the studio gave permission for Samantha's authentic voice and personality to shine through in her songs.
Samantha collaborated with songwriter Danielle Brisebois who was a co-writer on Natasha Bedingfield's hit singles, "Unwritten" and "Pocket Full of Sunshine". Samantha rounded out the record by bringing aboard grammy award winning mixer, Manny Marroquin (Alicia Keyes, Usher, Kanye West) to bump up the grooves.
After gaining attention and accolades in the press from her infectious live show, Samantha Stollenwerck is poised for breakthrough success. Samantha's new album Carefree releases on November 10, 2009.
