Q: What is your favourite piece of music that you have created?
A: That's a tough one, Lesley. It's like asking a parent which child he likes best! But I'd have to say that the piece that most embodies my spirit and my ideals is One World, One People. Mankind has reached the point where it must put aside its petty political and religious divisions and "come together" as John Lennon said, not only to save the world but to save ourselves. It's my only piece of music I can listen to consistently and not tire of because it fills me with hope, which is in short supply these days. I can picture our great blue planet below as I listen to it and be filled with wonder at the magnificence of it all; of the many lives of everything that has lived here, the generations which have come and gone, struggling beneath those wispy clouds, and to know that the simple act of caring for one another, of which we are quite capable, is our great and only hope if we but act upon it.
