Bio
Zimbabwean-born singer/songwriter Sahara C is an unsigned artist based in the UK. An aspirant singer from an early age, but always very shy as a child, Sahara C started singing publically from age 19. She did her first studio session with Alton Edwards, & went on to having a regular performances around Harare, in a duo with the very talented jazz pianist Chris Chaduka. Before leaving the UK, she had performed at the Harare Sheraton for a capacity crowd & television viewers as part of the Miss Zimbabwe pageant, she had won 2nd place in the Nexus Talent agency "Ghetto Blues" talent contest & recorded a few songs. After taking a career break, Sahara C has re-emerged to take her place upon the stage.

Zimbabwean-born singer/songwriter Sahara C is an upwardly mobile unsigned artist based in the UK. Her voice is smooth, and soulful, reminiscent of the singers of old, and from those singers did she draw her influence.
Recent news:
Sahara C was ecstatic when her song "Just Dance" was one of those selected to feature in Puma's European online promotion for their new fragrance for from August 2008.

Sahara C is currently affiliated with the Gandanga Music label based in Zimbabwe, and will be performing at the 2009 Zimfest (London).
