Sadie's Shorts is a series of songs that Lindsay comes up with off the top of her head. She starts off with the basic layer, which sets the time and the notes used. She has lots of fun, and writes the lyrics in the moment.

She attributes these happy songs to Sadie's feelings of happiness and contentment within herself. Sadie is the result of a childhood of sexual abuse that Lindsay suffered, and Lindsay does her hardest to raise Sadie in a safe environment as she hcontinues to work on her healing journey of abuse. Lindsay treats Sadie as if she were a real child, and loves her very much.

Sadie is a blessing to Lindsay, and wouldn't ask for any other inner child.
