Shows

  • 2011

    Mar 8

San Diego, CA, US | 1:00pm

Multicultural Fair The Island Fever band, with Sabira Woolley on vocals and steel pan, Ron Nathan on keytar, steel pan and vocals, and our beautifully costumed Caribbean dancers, will perform an exciting one hour show celebrating ethnic and cultural diversity, featuring Caribbean, African and Latin music and traditional dances.

    Sep 5

La Jolla, CA, US | 3:00pm

The Island Fever duo, featuring Sabira Woolley on vocals and steel pan, stirs up sweet melodies and spicy rhythms at The Shores Restaurant, at the La Jolla Shores Hotel. It is a beautiful place to be on a Sunday afternoon and evening. The food is exceptional, the view is outstanding, and the music is exquisite (come see us and we'll show you!). Not only that, but we discovered that it is the perfect place to go if you want to enjoy the beach (or the pool), not only in the sunshine, but even on a cool or rainy day. You have a panoramic view of the ocean, and are sheltered from the weather. The large and elegant patio has plenty of seating, gentle breezes waft in the eaves so you get fresh sea air, but there is a roof, glass window/walls, and heat lamps, so you are perfectly comfortable! And there is plenty of room to dance!
