"The third release for Rysque Records further extends the PPU family's interest in Sacramento California. This double header brings us another dose of unreleased cassette tape jams from the 80s, finally given a vinyl issue. Tim Tucker's "C'Kret" is a Jam-Lewis style electro-funk slammer with a catchy vocal and nice playing. On the flip Divinity gets caught up in her boyfriend's "Fishnets" - they're so scratchy when she holds him tight (a common 80s complaint, I reckon). After all, even in the gender-bending 80s a line had to be drawn somewhere, and 'Fishnets are for girls'. All this and a super-squelchy electro-boogie backing track. As with previous Rysque 45s, it's all very lo-fi - don't be expecting amazing sound quality cos these cuts are lifted from cassettes."
