Q: Listening to some of your early tracks tonight, fascinating stuff in that I know you well, or so I thought... these tracks such as Out! and Chattahoochee- what's the story behind these, dates, etc?
A: These tracks are recordings from the 90s Will. "Out" was a song inspired by the Atlanta Braves making it to the world series. I use the baseball pitching metaphor to describe a failing relationship. "Chattahoochee" was a song I wrote in '91, and yes, I have to stress that I wrote mine before Alan Jackson wrote his. It was inspired by a story I'd heard years before about a woman having jumped off the Dillingham street bridge. I wanted to write about hometown landmarks, as you have, and writing about the river seemed to be a good thing to write about. I hope my answer helps. Thanks brother for your question~! Rusty
