Jordan Douglas Queen was born on November 5, 1994 and was always a very respectable young man. He was a devout Christian and loved the Lord, his family, friends, and community. He was a great student at Gordon Lee High School, a member of the Gordon Lee High Wrestling team, and employed at North Georgia Eye care with Dr. Eric Helwig. Jordan died on November 9, 2011 from injuries related to a car accident on the way home from school. Jordan always enjoyed helping others and had planned a career in ophthalmology. Once Jordan finished his education he wanted to return to their community to help others with their eye care and vision needs. Jordan's parents would like to continue his vision in helping their community. They have decided to assist those in need of eye care with a program established in their son's memory, "Thru Jordan's Eyes". Dr. Eric Helwig at North Georgia Eye care has agreed to assist them with this program. They hope with the assistance of community members, friends, and family they can continue Jordan's vision. Thank you for supporting their son's vision and celebrating his legacy.
