Rule of Thumb is an east coast influenced three piece hardcore band with a belief that hardcore is for everyone who has an open mind. Our music has no needless filler, there are no solos or pointless catchy hooks. Only straight ahead, in your face hardcore with brutal breakdowns and honest lyrics. Our current lineup has been together since Jan 09. We play regularly in the Vegas bar scene and the growing all ages scene here. We tour through the west and the south when we can afford to. We believe good friends and good music and good whiskey can unite everyone.
