SXSW

What can be more exciting than driving thousands of miles over the course of a few days in a cramped van full of WVO while studying for midterms? Nothingggggg.

I'm thinking about buying a shower-in-a-bag so I don't smell like french fries for SXSW.

This trip, which two months ago was looking incredible, is starting to fall apart. Three of the shows we were supposed to play on the way down ended up cancelling last minute leaving us in a precarious position and no real method of generating any funds on the way down. The estimated loss is $1200 split four ways. This is one hell of an advertising cost to simply play one show. From what I've been hearing, it's completely hit-or-miss and hopefully being on one of the sickest line-ups ever (Russian Circles, This Will Destroy You, Junius, Constants, Caspian, Lymbyc Systym, Seneca, Genghis Tron, Colliseum, Tera Melos, Maps and Atlases), we'll catch the attention of some individuals.

-james
