STARVED is the first single release from ROCKHILL CD

Monday, October 18, STARVED will land at radio stations in Canada. Gritty sampled pop folk rock, STARVED is the first single to be released from Benjamin Russell's ROCKHILL CD (songs from a high rise hideaway).

STARVED has been compared in sound to Roxy Music and David Bowie.

Billing himself as "trans-genre", Russell is fiercely original, drawing from his folk roots but combining this with elements of his punk rock days and his electronic 80's pop. His song, "Miracle" was a hit on CFNY back in the 80's when he was nominated most promising male vocalist in the nationally televised CASBY awards.
