Press Release 4/14/07

The Cedar Rapids based Rock Band - "Spider Gear" is happy to announce the completion of their full length debut CD "Mullet Over".
A street release date is scheduled for Aug. 28th; however the CD has been pre-released online, and is available for purchase on the Band's web site - www.spider-gear.com.
The CD's title "Mullet Over" is a play on words in reference to the dated hair style (the Mullet) and the idea that: it is time to think about the future of this great planet we call home, and our part in it. Several Songs on the CD make reference to current world affairs.
Musically, the 11 song CD is a road trip to Surprise City. Around every corner is an unexpected hook that is highly contagious and for which there is no known antidote.
Although impossible to pigeon hole, the Band's sound is a retro (now modern) power-pop and new-wave mix that is big as life and true as an arrow.

We are currently seeking Street Team Members to help with online promotion,
email me at - joel@spider-gear.com

Much Thanks for Your Support! - Joel McDowell and Spider Gear

Please feel free to call me anytime at : 319-294-6604 for more information.
