I Haven't blogged in a while so...

I thought it was about time I wrote, to let you know I'm still here making noise. Over the last year I've recorded around 30 new songs and, with the help of friends and file sharing they are now close to releasable. Ideally I should have things sorted our for May 1st at the Bull and Gate, I also have two other gigs to aim for on the 8th and 20th of May. The one on May 1st is the first time i will perform as part of the Camden Crawl which I've heard good things about. After that it's to the Worlds End which my mate Piers assures me is better than it used to be... I'm looking forward to that. The 3rd gig is at the Half Moon Herne Hill at 8pm on the 20th. Piers will play, as will a French artist, to open the show, then I do an hour or so.
If you've read this far thanks. I hope I get a chance to make it up to you at one of the gigs. I hope to see you there.

Thanx

Tommy Flynns

Just back from a gig at Tommy Flynns in Camden Town,London.

Enjoyed it a great deal. Thanks to everyone who turned up to hear me play, and also thanks to all those who came out with me to the Greek Restaurant 'experience' after the gig.
I think we had the angriest waiter in the world. Although to be fair his mood did improve as the night went on... and the bill went up!
It was a bit disconcerting to see some bloke who had apparently been on Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares turn up. He was obviously best mates with the waiter, this should have been a clear signal but we gambled on.
For me the gamble didn't pay off gastronomically speaking...nuff said.
Still it was a fine night and whether or not the great and the good enjoyed my gig (I dunno), and whether or not the film they shot makes me look as dodgy as those things usually do (it will), and whether or not I have developed a minor tzatziki phobia...who cares. It was a good do. Thanks to everyone for coming x

My New Blog

This is my new blog

At this time I am attempting to compile the music I've made over the years and create a site about it as well as linking it with other sites too. As with all the stuff I've been doing over the last few days this is me working to create the right kind of online vibe for my music. So forgive me if it starts out as a bit naff. It's bound to : )
