Playing at Shakori Hill, she joins FodFest. This is an international festival honoring the life of Daniel Pearl, the South Asia Bureau Chief of The Wall Street Journal, who disappeared in Karachi, Pakistan, going to a meeting with a go between who promised access to an elusive source, while researching a story on shoe bomber Richard Reid. Angelia Jolie portraited his wife, Mariane Pearl, in the film version of their memoir, "A Mighty Heart (2007)". <br/> <br/>Danny loved to jam and believed in the power of music to bring people together. Thus to honor him, the best in all of us, and how we are all comnnected, the festival it is about community building through music! <br/> <br/>FODfest (the concept and the organizers) travel, but in each location local musicians jam together around the person "leading the tune."
