New Demo

Hello everyone,

It has been a long time since we have been able to get together as a band and figure out our plan for everything. As you may have heard, we temporarily had a singer, Kathryn, who helped us out a lot with getting some vocal melodies down for a few of our songs. Unfortunately, we were unable to move forward with Kathryn, but we are very grateful for the work we were able to get done during her time. We are beginning a new singer search, which we feel will be much easier this time around since we have a better idea of what we are doing and what we are looking for.

We had our first band session in several months tonight, and things sounded surprisingly good. We are obviously a bit rusty but it could have been much worse. We plan on being much more active as far as practicing as well as being online and keeping everyone updated.

To show our gratitude for all you guys who have followed us on here for the last couple years, and for any people new to us, we have decided to post a demo that we worked on with Kathryn so you guys can have a bit of an idea of what we have been up to.

The demo, temporarily entitled "Tickle Me Nice", is something Matt, Kathryn, and I "recorded" a few months ago and never got to fully finish or work on with Dave and Chris. It is obviously far from the complete product, but we would love to hear everyone's feedback or any completely unrelated comments.

Hey everyone.

It has been way too long since we have been on here, but we want you to know that we have been working our asses off on new material. I can assure everyone, though im sure youre tired of hearing it, that we have some big things in the works. Hopefully in the next few months we can finish everything and give you guys some new songs to listen to.

We are sorry for the delay with everything, its tough for us to all get together and get stuff done due to other work and school schedules. If everything goes according to plan, we should hopefully be hitting a studio in December and getting everything recorded. As of now, we have almost 4 songs completed (vocals included!!!).

Thats right, you read correctly. We have vocals, and a singer too. However, we are waiting to release clips until we have some better quality recordings, as much as we love the sound of recording on a Mac.

We appreciate the support you guys give us and we hope you will bear with us the next few months while we work on finishing everything up.

Our new demo, "I'd Rather Be Awesome, Rogers" is now complete and available for your listening pleasure (or displeasure if you think we suck). We hope you like it, let us know how it is, what parts you like, what parts you dont, if we should kick Matt out of the band, whatever!

Also, we had my youngest brother take pictures of us today during practice/recording and we decided to put them up so you can see us in "action".

We are still on the search for a singer and still in need of a logo so let us know if you can provide us with either!

Due to some technical difficulties with Matt's amp, we were unable to record the new version of "Ohio" tonight. We are working again tomorrow and if we can get the amp to work, will hopefully have it up then. In the meantime, the old version can be heard still be heard at reverbnation (here).

Back to Work

Well we all had some nice vacation time and now its back to cranking out some tunes. Writing and hoping to complete a new demo tonight, who knows, may even put it on the ol websites. Hoping to get at least 3 or so more done by the last week in August.

Singer search still underway, have some very interesting prospects we are waiting to hear back from. Fingers crossed.

As for the EP, obviously without a singer we are having to delay it a bit, but hopefully we will have an EP, or if it takes too long a full length ready in the next few months.

Crown Royale Posted!

Crown Royale is now posted on all our sites and available to the world. We are currently writing more songs and continuing the search for a singer. Still hoping to have an EP finished in the coming month or so, but that all depends on when we can find a singer.

Continuing the singer search, have had a lot of responses but no decisions made yet. Unfortunately writing has been put on hold for a week or so due to various vacations, but as soon as we can we plan on getting back to writing songs for an EP.

Also, anyone want to help make us a logo?
