    <title type="text">Loungetree on the Radio</title>
    <content type="text">Loungetree were invited to appear on Choice Hospital Radio this morning (Sunday 9th August). &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The band will be appearing at the Worcester Music Festival later this month, and this radio session was partly to raise awareness of the festival, and partly because presenter Pete Phillips is a fan of the band!&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Choice Hospital Radio are one of the charities supported by this year's festival. As part of their fund-raising efforts, a compilation CD is available with part of the proceeds going to the charities supported. Loungetree's track 'Conscious Killer' appears on this year's mammoth 3-CD compilation.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The radio session starts with and interview with Lisa Ventura, organiser of the festival.The Loungetree interview kicks in at around 7m30s&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;We have included a link here to the full session on Choice Radio for anyone interested in hearing a few insights into the band and their music in their own words.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Tracks played included: Life Light, Seasons, Gasoline and Ordinary, all of which are taken from the forthcoming CD release 'Seasons' which is scheduled for release on 31st August and is available to pre-order now on the website www.loungetree.com&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Click here to listen to interview: http://www.choiceradio2.org.uk/Promos/Loungetree%20interview.mp3</content>

    <title type="text">Fuse Festival and album preview</title>
    <content type="text">We had a great evening last night at the Fuse Festival, everyone was up for it and there are a few more Treehuggers in the making. Thank you to all our regulars and new friends for your support last night. A big thankyou to Ashley one of our new tree huggers for getting up on stage with us during Valentine and leading the clapping ceremony, you got the crowd swaying! thanks again everyone.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Please remember that you all have the oportunity this weekend to preview our new Album "Seasons" @ www.loungetree.com Hope you all like it. Release date will probably be early August - but there will be a special album preview session on Sunday 5th July between 7pm and 9pm. All you need to do is visit the website to listen - www.loungetree.com&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Simply go to the website between 7pm and 9pm, you'll be able to listen to the album in it's entirity!     <title type="text">First day of recording</title>
    <content type="text">First day of recording went real well, all ghost tracks down and seven of the nine rhythm guitars layer recorded, so well in front of schedule! if early indication anything to go by we should have a great album for you all. We will be looking at releasing a single early to mid July with the album to follow at a launch party so keep your eyes peeled, and of course you will all be invited to come along to the party!</content>

    <title type="text">We got the Cradleys!</title>
    <content type="text">By a strange coincidence, Loungetree are playing two Cradleys on the same day!&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;We are playing main stage at the Pyramid Party in Cradley near Malvern on Sunday 24th at 12pm, followed by afternoon gig at The Hollybush in Cradley Heath at 3.40pm. Watch us at both for a double dose of Cradleys!&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The Pyramid Party is entry by invite only, so please check the event website for up-to-date info on ticket availability at www.pyramid-party.co.uk&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The Hollybush is running Bushstock, a one-day outdoor music event with a full line-up of bands with all pints including six real ales at &amp;pound;2 a pint until 9pm! Although there is no money in this, we will share any proceeds on merchandise with the artist providing the design.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;**** OTHER NEWS&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Our new website is up and running at www.loungetree.com We had a photoshoot at Avoncroft Museum on 25th June – you can check out the mugshots on the website and here on Facebook.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;We have a Treewall on the website and are inviting fans to submit pictures of their favourite trees. These could be ones that you live close to, ones from childhood – but should be ones that mean something to you. A mosaic of these will form part of the artwork for our forthcoming album later this year.</content>

    <title type="text">Artwork/video/animation required</title>
    <content type="text">We thought we'd try something using the power of the internet and social networking.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Loungetree's new album will be released later this year with a single release before that, and to go along with the CD and live shows we are looking for:&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;1) video for the single&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;2) interior artwork for CD booklet&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;3) artwork for T-shirts and other merchandise&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;4) back projections for live shows&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;This is aimed at any artists out there who would like to get involved in helping to create a band image. There is no fee involved, but any contributors will be acknowledged wherever their work is used.     <title type="text">Nottingham charity gig update</title>
    <content type="text">We had a great gig last night at the Park Tavern in Nottingham. The event was organised by Katie Eastwood of New College Nottingham, and money raised for the When You Wish Upon A Star Appeal amounted to £210 on the night.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Thanks to Katie for organising the gig, we were very pleased to have so much good feedback from those who attended and are looking forward to playing in Nottingham again soon.</content>
