"Massachusetts" Vedge's First EP

Beginning the week of November 25, Vedge will spend some time in their quiet humble studio to begin recording their first studio-quality album. The recordings will be live which reveals a stripped down folk sensation at their raw and utmost ripe sound.

Well known music stores around Cincinnati, such as Shake It Records, are already waiting eagerly for the precious release. Pre-sale information will be on a blog post in the near future as well as an email to the members of our email list.

The date of release is TBA, but Producer Michael Hoffman predicts it should be down before January 2008.

New Vedge Press Release

About Vedge:
Vedge has a lot to offer to local and national venues as well as music lovers of all kinds. From just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, these young men combine traditional music with the modern times. Though most of their music is original, they play many traditional folk songs as well as a few well-loved covers that are always met by their brilliant standard and tone to create a crisp and warming energy that is enjoyable for the audience to listen to. Their listeners truly become a part of the band and culture. Vedge always puts on a memorable show with improvisational jams and solos as well as creating a pleasurable environment.

Members:
Michael Hoffman- Vocals, Guitar, Harmonica
Dugan Warmoth- Vocals, Guitar, Banjo
Robby Buchsbaum- Vocals, Mandolin
Will Putnam- Vocals, Bass Guitar
*There are also many instances in which Vedge invites many friends or well-accomplished musicians to join them on stage.

Experience Vedge:
Vedge always puts 100% in each of their shows. Their interactions with the audience as they share their tales and music are amusing and even inspiring to the public. They never have a dull moment in a show where they are not grabbing your attention, as the suspense of their show constantly has you yearning for more. Also, with their improvised jams and creative solos, they never put the same show on twice, yet the satisfied audience always leaves thinking it was the best show they had ever put on. Rather it is their all acoustic set at the local Farmers’ Markets, or their loud speaker cabinets shaking the floors of large auditoriums with the rumble of bass and treble of mandolin, Vedge has much to display for anyone interested in music and their chemistry is strong and artistic as well as quite rare in this generation.
