Hello Heffalump Friends,

Just a quick note to let you know that Teacher Craig is performing at the Birth and Family Fair in downtown Palo Alto this saturday at 2pm, the event is from 10am-3pm. I hope you can early and stay for the fun! Here are the details, please share with your friends as well- the event is open to the public.

Birth and Family Fair

at Downtown Community Center at All Saints' Church, 555 Waverley St, Palo Alto

Join us for Silicon Valley's Birth and Family Fair, brought to you by Blossom Birth Services and Bay Area Birth Information (BABI)- your
local nonprofits celebrating birth and families! FREE fun for ALL ages- including little babies and pregnant mamas! Be sure to come join in the fun to celebrate families- learn, love and laugh!

Here are just some of the treats we have in store of you and your BFFs:

o Over 30 local pregnancy and new parent community vendors including including doulas, midwives, lactation consultants, photographers, holistic care providers and more!
o Workshops on topics related to pregnancy, birth and parenting. Featured talk by Author & Researcher Henci Goer.
o Entertainment including performance by everyone’s favorite Andy Z, Music for Families, African Drums, Family Yoga and Tap Dance
o Free Ice-cream Sundaes featuring Michal the Milkman ice cream
o Fun activities such as obstacle course by Stroller Hikes, crafts and special tot area by UrbanSitter, pillow fight play by Hand in Hand Parenting and more

“Squeaky The Toad Day” is a “unique holiday”, only observed at Heffalump and we’re going to celebrate big time. Join us for this potluck of food, music, games, and prizes. Kids and adults welcome to come in costume.
Calling all Heffalump alumni, neighbors, and friends to a hop race
Can you come out to play and spend time meeting new and old friends?
Heffalump's magical holiday began 27 years ago with a Heffalumper, who arrived at school with their face painted, roller skates, a skirt and a batch of cupcakes. The only reason he gave was “Well, it’s March The Third”.
The lore has developed around “Squeaky The Toad”, who lives on the moon. If the kids send messages in a rocket, he rides his vacuum to Heffalump, and if the children have remembered to put their shoes in their cubbies, he then fills them with treats. They had “toad cakes” and “slime punch”, toad games and prizes for all. Today Squeaky has a new son name
“Squeaky Jr.” Squeaky Jr. rides a scooter and calls Heffalump on his satellite phone to challenge children to be active and win prizes. He love to share so we have a potluck. We are always looking for new friends so we celebrate with open house.
