Box Of Bend

Box Of Bend

As Haegers Bend began, I took it upon myself to record the band.

The first recording started with a little walkman-type cassette recorder that would travel everyplace with the band.

After we bought a 4-track recorder, Paul and I created an explosion of music. We would always be recording something new. Together and apart, the music was the story.

With the 4-track recorder, many songs were recorded by Paul and me playing most or all of the instruments with Phil Drumin, our drum machine. He was always on time and never talked back.

As the band grew, we recorded even more. All of these recordings are musical memories that I have kept track of for years. Most of these have never made it out past the band circle.

In its complete form, Box of Bend is 4 discs, containing 71 unreleased songs, demos and live tracks.
