Sophmoric Showcase At Wise Fool’s

Greetings friends!

We are fresh from our 2008 AEMMP Records Showcase last night at Wise Fool's Pub and it was an amazing experience as we were able to meet a ton of great bands. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it out.

For those of you who don't know, AEMMP Records is a student-run record label that chooses 2 bands every year and signs them to a record deal. We were one of only a handful of bands chosen to perform.

With such a diverse group of genres present (Punk, Americana, Alternative, etc.) we were able to walk away with a lot of experience and new friends. Keep your fingers crossed for the results!

Now that the showcase is over, we are looking forward to our first official show next week Sunday, May 18th at the Uncommon Ground at 7pm. We hope to see everyone there!

Cheers,

Rob

Beard Today, Gone Tomorrow

The last few months have been so whirlwind Nick and I have gotten away from sending updates. Well my friends, that is about to change. Starting next week we'll be showcasing bi-weekly or weekly (depending on how much is going on) Podcasts.

If we would've had one before you'd be up-to-date with the latest Convergence news like the fact that Rob shaved his beard. Riveting? You betcha!

On a more important note, you may have seen our calendar growing and growing. We hope to see all of you at shows over the course of the summer. If for any reason, just to give everybody an excuse to come out, see new places, meet new people, and congregate.

Lastly, we have some big news as we were recently chosen to perform the yearly AEMMP Showcase on Saturday, May 10th at Wise Fool's Pub. For those of you who don't know, AEMMP is student run record label based out of Columbia College. Each year they select two artist to ink a deal. Wish us luck!
