The One Campaign

Hey What's up. It's been a minute but hey life keeps us all busy right? I have seen my little sis go off to college, linked up with more associates, friends, and business partners since I moved back to The Eastside of the A after college in the past year. But enough about me, what about this election. I feel that we are watching history in the making. There is a certain special feeling I get when watching Obama. He has been touched to do great things. Although you can't sleep on McCain, for the simple fact of his relatively unknown, yet strategic choice with Governor Palin of Alaska. Do you really think the hockey mom will pick up the extra Hillary supporters? Whoever you choose to vote for, keep in mind the real issues going on right now when you do. Iraq, The economy, social security, inflation, the recession that we are not in (wink wink). Interested in your opinions, leave commemnts.

Other than that, I am wrapping up "The One" and plan to release it November 4th on Election Day. Let me know if you want a copy of this special project. I do it for you. Until next time, peace.

A NEW BEGINNING

Sorry I been gone for a minute, just been grinding, you know how it is. I'm sure you already know, but Barack Obama just clinched the presidential Nomination for the democratic party. That is monumentous. I'm not saying that just because he is black, (Honestly I feel like we are all born on this planet as colorless souls placed in the body we possess), but because of the implications of where america is in excepting a non-white candidate as a potential candidate. Don't get me wrong, i am proud that for all the people saying that the civil rights movement is forgotten, and all that jazz, I feel he is a living testament that, though us young folks can seem like we have no sense at times, we do pay attention to what's going on. We have not forgotten. It's in our roots. And I'll say that psychologically, just the thought that Obama could be our next president allows the bar to be higher on the dreams of the minority youth. Being entertainers and athletes is cool, but to have realistic aspirations of obtaining presidency as well, truly removes the glass ceiling. i have like Obama for about a year now, and while I am partial because he is African American, I also honestly think he is good enough for the position. People around the world celebrated when he got the vote. THE WORLD, you hear me. for a presidential election. That's big. Keep doing your thing Barack.

On my end, just been in the lab, and out grinding. if you are in the A you might have caught me on WRFG 89.3 bout 2 weeks ago. I have layed some new thoughts in the studio that came out blazin, All while reeling the paper in, you know how it goes. And a while back, i told you I was going to career day at murphey candler elementary school. I got pics of that on my face book. Anyways, be easy and till next time, peace.

Other than that, Me and Stealth were kickin it for a week up here in the A-Town, by way of Lithonia to be exact. You know just making money moves or whatever. I took him back friday night down to Hinesville down in South, GA. I love hitting the road. It allows me to bump my music and just contemplate about life on the open road. Hey what up ya'll just came back from good ole Statesboro, GA. SON crushed the performance at the Battle For The Boro. Shout out to Chuck from 91.9 The Buzz and Spanish Michael from 97.3 kiss fm SAV. Sorry if you weren't able to make it, but this time we weren't able to get any video. but we got some pics of the crowd throwin their hands in the air and repping with us. I posted them down below. Other than that I just want to say that i appreciate all the support and love from all the people i got to kick it with in my old college town. and shout out to all the artists on the grind, my Brotha Slimm Duddy, Sean, Chozy, Bama, Witness, and everybody else. I ain't mean to forget no names, just a lot to name, if u really on the grind, U know i got love for ya. IT'S COOL TO BE SMART

Don't let them Lie to ya. Don't believe the hype. It's cool to know something, to go to school, to be smart. Don't get me wrong I know school isn't for everyone, but that don't mean yu shouldn't still want to get educated about whatever it is you are into. I ain't tryna knock nobody either, but it seems like a lot of people get caught up in the whole idea of living the high life and being in the entertainment industry.... But even that is still hard work, and if you ain't educated about it, it will eat you alive. But real talk, like some peolpe think if you actually apply yourself and strive to say , o idon't know graduate, or pursue a masters or phd, or something that you're doing to much, or your not cool after that. I mean it's cool to be a singer, or actor, or rapper, or even a professional athelete, but it's also cool to be an investment banker, or a docter, lawyer, astronaut, CEO, financial analyst, these people (but not limited to these people) make the world go round.
I am ust trying to collect my thoughts, ya boy is getting the opportunity to speak at an elementary school, out here on the Eastside ATL in dekalb county to 4th graders in May. I hope i don't bore them, haha. But anyways, stay motivated in whatever it is you do. and keep checking in for the Launch of the new website. Comming soon, ya boy is out, peace.

WELCOME TO MY WORLD

Hey ya'll. I know it's been a few days, I been making moves and all that good stuff. Feels good to be back in the lab. I just produced a track for the intro on my boy DJ Flux's show on e-93 in savannah. I haven't made a beat in a minute, but this one is a banger. I been lookin to get placements and submit my beats for projects and just building up the studio. And launch date for the new website is approaching, www.Lejitworld.com. So I can snatch up some of that internet real-estate. I'ma definately let ya'll know wussup with that. But other than that, i'm just getting ready for Battle in the Boro, back down at good ole Georgia Southern on april 12th. SON performing that fire. ANyway's holla at ya boy.

A3C CONCERT: SON IN THE BUILDING

Hey ya'll, just checking in. This past weekend I was kicking it at the A3C concert with my labelmate Rogue, aka The 1st Lady of SON at the A3C (All 3 Coasts) concert series at The Loft in Atlanta. It was off the chain. Rogue performed in the woman's hip-hop summit and also sat on an opinion panel with the like of Roxanne Shante form the Juice Crew herself. (Footage soon to come). Anyways Rogue shut it down for SON, like she always does. And We got to see the Juice Crew perform live. True legends and pioneers in the game. Shout out to Nicole for making the event what it was, that girl is a hard worker. Shouts out to my homies, Showtyme, SKinny-C, and Nobody famous who was also in the building. Anyways, catch us back down in the Boro (Statesboro, GA) for Battle in the Boro on April 12, 2008. The whole crew will be performing at Dos Primos. Be easy and chase dreams. one.

New Experience Put on the Ice

NEW EXPERIENCE PUT ON THE ICE

Hey ya'll wus good. I went to my 1st hockey game life ever. Like I have seen plenty of games on TV but never been to one in person. Thrashers and Hurricanes, center ice baby. Well not exactly center ice, more like 3rd level, but it was still dope, shout out to my girl Nicole for hooking that up. Thrashers, ended up loosing, but I thought it was cool how they have the giant metal birds spew fire when they score. Also what I love about hockey is that it's so damn real. The refs don't call too many fouls and they can fight out their problems gotta love it. Only things I really don't understand about the sport are icing and offsides, i kinda get icing, but what the hell is offsides? there is a fast break open ice (wjistle blows) .... offside. What the hell happened? if u know please tell me, lol. Till we meet again, holla at ya boy. And if yuo gonna be in atlanta this weekend, look up the A3C concert. Rogue will be performing in the female summit this weekend. but anyways, holla back.

MAKE IT, DON'T LET IT MAKE YOU & 10,000 BC

You know what time it is. I wanna connect with ya one time for the day. Listen, I know a lot of people want to be rich. Everyone wants to be able to access the resources they feel they deserve. But i know a lot of people, myself included fall into the cycle of working and grinding hard only to feel tired from the hustle and not able to fully enjoy the benefits of what you have worked for. That's when you have to change the way you look at it all. Don't work for your money or whatever it is you work for, let it work for you. Start looking at yourself as a business. A walking breathing, spiritual, social, business and invest in yourself. See your time as a valuable asset. Sometimes you have to go against the grain when it seems like you are the only one going that way. It felt kinda akward, but when the whole process was over with obtaining my first piece of property at age 23, because of sacrifice and vision to take advantage of the real estate when the market is down. It's like buying the work for the cheap. But I wouldn't change the experience for nothing.

Also, i seen that movie 10,000 BC last weekend, it was crazy. Kinda stupid but highly entertaining. The main characters spoke the king james english, were attacked by giant turkeys and scaled from siberia to egypt in like 3 days, haha. But visualy it was pretty dope.
