Em is going mad with Garage Band!

This is cool, maybe we'll be the new Elton John and Bernie Taupin, in that we are working apart, yet together. Em has recently acquired a laptop with garage band, and has been experimenting with adding strange beats and effects to our songs, and then emailing them as mp3s!

We are so modern!

Let's see if an album results. . .

Had a great time in Elton, The Peak District and in South Hinksey, Oxfordshire

Played in two lovely village halls last weekend, and saw a lot more snow in The Peak District than we had in Wales!

Thanks to everybody in Elton and South Hinksey for wining and dining us, singing along . . . and showing us the mysterious "Island of the Stallion" cushion! I hope to embroider my own someday : )

The drive was uneventful, and we finally know what it's like to sleep at one of those motels at a service station. Weird, but convenient.

On the other hand, the cottage we stayed in in Elton was divine, and we'd recommend it to anyone -- it's called the Homestead!
