Almost Done...

I've been working on this Bullett remaster for weeks (month(s)) now and everything is up now. Just a few things to fix up. The Bullett page is getting a great response, even though nothing is up for sale yet (but we do have a free download until Jan 1, 2008). I found some better tapes today (NOW, why NOW???? Although I'm very glad, in the end.), so I'll be replacing about 3 of these tracks with those, and they won't need as much remastering.

These songs are originally from 1975 to 1982. We had many problems finding good source material after 30 years. In some cases I used cassettes, as that was the currency of the day. We had some reel-to-reel tapes that were found, but some of those had problems once they got transferred, but of course better than cassettes! I have a pristine 30IPS 2-track copy of a master for a single done for a major label, that I will get transferred soon. It sounds so much better than the songs that are here.

I am so glad and I think we were true to Bullett, one of the bands out of many who either got scammed or got nothing (Bullett) when disco/punk hit and Boulder's music boom ended. But I think the music holds up well, there is a lot of talent, it is good, solid Classic Rock, and we had a lot of fun. I engineered all but 4 songs, if not completely, then the final overdubs and mixes, or remixing, and now, finally, the remastering.)

So, enjoy, check out the Bullett page for the real scoop, I just have these Bullett tracks on my page for my resume. See the Bullett page for more tracks, as it includes songs I did not originally engineer.

Then I have included some other songs, jingles, experiments, or rough mixes I have done, although it is certainly not all inclusive - no room for that! I just want to give a good snapshot. I'll be adding to those soon. We've only had a presence here for a couple weeks and that was the Bullet paget. I just got around to my mgmt page yesterday or day before and this page yesterday. We've been very heavy on MySpace. When I got the the Bullett finished, it left me time to spread our wings.

I also got David Forrest Small's page done. He was the lead singer/songwriter for Bullett, and has now gone solo, and will be releasing a solo album, SmallSongs I..

Then I had to get the Brain Damage, from SmallSongs I, up and announced- it is fun and free right now. Whew! It is a great gig favorite and getting terrestrial airplay in the US, Europe and New Zealand (drivetime, how appropriate!).

Now the fun starts. Enjoy.

Cheers,

Sarah
