Hello there!

This is a little page dedicated to Falling Suns, the band who forgot to stay.

A powerful and dynamic 3 piece, famed for many things not least Randal's guitar playing ability, Simon's drum "aura" and my hair, we played around Leeds from 1991 until extinction in 1995 having refused to suck corporate c***

Having become musically stagnent I recently got nostalgic for days gone by as nothing I've done since can compare. So I dug out some old demos and stole some photos from Simon and gave Falling Suns a presence....... albeit 12 years late!

The tunes uploaded are all demos ranging from 1992 - 1994, mainly home recordings although, Blue Circle Shoes, Her Boyfriend and New Home were recorded at the Billiard Rooms by the legendary Carl Rosamund.

Sadly, most of the old demos were a bit worse for wear so I tried to lovingly restore them in my broom cupboard.

Most of these demos were only heard by a select few people, the odd promoter, girlfriends and mates... so if you ever wondered what we sounded like on record, here's your chance!

I'll continue to add to the site as and when I can.... but I need to appeal to anyone who has any photos - email me them and I'll put them up!

As for future uploads, I believe a video exists...... which includes the immense (and sadly unrecorded) song "B" If I can get it,and convert it, I'll distribute it.

That's all for now

John
