Aaron Sledge new video for his hit single 'Hold On' is coming out the first week in May. There is no set date yet but you will be updated when it is set. We just got done this past week working on the video. Now we are just working on editing it to make sure that it is just as hot as the song. So keep your ears to the streets cause its gonna be hott!! THE FOLLOWING IS A REVIEW OF AARON'S DEBUT PROJECT BY WWW.GOSPELFLAVA.COM
Aaron Sledge on his first solo release, Da Light, he steps up to deliver an album chock filled with urban jams and midtempo grooves.

CDClever lyrics and butter background vocals dominate the inspirational, "Robbed". On "Hold On", an Eric Dawkins influence is clearly recognizable. Sledge's music has that R&B edge and vocals that, frankly, trump many of the artists in the mainstream side.

"Speak The Word" is a swinging number with a clear urban feel to it and Sledge asks God for direction. On the slow banger "Closer", he expresses his desire to draw nearer to God.

The title track is a stand-out, with infectious synth add-ons and impressive rapid-fire vocals. Sledge writes songs without the usual "Christianese", all the while sensitive to church folk. "Bad" is a perfect example of this, as he sings of the feats of Jesus in a laymen's terms.

The comforting sounds of the Hammond B3 are blended with a modern-day worship vibe on the string-heavy "City Called Heaven". The ballad "Did It All For Me" nicely contrasts to other tracks on the album.

"2 Nite" is a crisp, uptempo song that tells of the remorse of a couple living together without being married, and their decision to make things right. Ashlee Crawford adds her infectious vocal lead to Sledge's stellar offering.

Aaron Sledge creates Gospel music relevant to today, while staying true to his call. Da Light should illuminate stereos and iPods across the land.
