About

Hello to all! I am a God-gifted, self taught musician. Ive been playing the guitar for about 35 years now. I started playing in family bands, churches,  and the East Carolina University Gospel Choir from 1985-1988. I started touring briefly  with the gospel group, The Christianaires of Sontag Mississippi in 1990, afterwhich I began touring with The Williams Brothers (of Summit Miss.) from 1991-1996. During that time, The Wiliams brothers owned and operated one mo the most successful black owned gospel labels in the  country, Blackberry Records. I played on most of their artists recordings and did some writing as well, having the opportunity to work with Melvin Williams (solo), Doug Williams (solo), Albertina Walker, Kenton Rogers, The Jackson Southernaires, The Original Drifters, Ollie Woodson of the Temptations, Yolanda Adams, John P. Kee, The Migty Clouds of Joy, and many others.

In 1996 I traveled to Frankfurt Germany to persue other opportunities. There I earned a songwriting contract with BMG and wrote and co-produced for several of their artisits. While in Germany I worked wit many artists, some top ten acts, writing, producing, and of course playing a lot of guitar! I worked throughout Germany, Switzwerland, Holland, denmark, and Spain: working in genres such as jazz, rnb, hip-hop, blues, gospel, funk, etc.

I worked as the musical director for the only running Gospel play in the country at the time called "HOPE". We traveled throughout Europe performing in many venues.

Upon  returning to the US, I began touring with The Mighty Clouds of Joy briefly and working with different blues and jazz artisits from Atlanta to New Orleans, traveling throughtout the US.

I am  currently working on a band project with some good friends of mine. The name of the band is Driven and we are smooth jazz, funk, and gospel infused! We are a work in progress but we will be hitting hard soon! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy some of the music!
