This project stems from the ashes of puertorrican punk rock band Los Lácteos. Ron Calavera is a blend of different influences that include punk, rock, jazz and ska, blended with a free-form spirit and avant-garde style experimentation.
Melodic voice arrangements combine with complex instrumentation to create pleasing, powerful and surprising music. Ron Calavera also blends languages, as any one song can have lyrics on both english and spanish.
Ron Calavera is recording their full length album at their home studio, and are planning to release it on late 2006.
