Rodrigo holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas. He has played and/or recorded with several jazz, classical and pop artists in Mexico, Korea, Japan and the U.S. such as: Stefan Karlsson, Lynn Seaton, Fareed Haque, Jangeun Bae, Clark Terry, Eddie Henderson, Jimmy Owens, Lee Tomboulian, Hiro Morozumi, Carlos Guedes, Takayoshi Yoshioka, Jon Anderson, Kelly Sill.
He is a Sabian, Yamaha, Evans, Latin Percussion, and Vic Firth artist.
