Rock'A'dees / Press

“Here's the 21 track (whew!) intro CD from that energetically rockin' trio from " down under, You have to respect that these guys aren't newbies or squeaky clean behind the ears: each member is practically a veteran of at least half a dozen musical collaborations, yet they all sing, play and cavort like teenagers who've just discovered Gene Vincent, pomade and hot rods. When's the last time a band had the balls to cover Eddie Cochran's " Something Else" ? The Rock'A'dees grab it by the (guitar) neck and roar madly on down the road. Check out the Rock'A'dees "Cochran-ized" version of The Strangeloves '64 sizzler "I'm on Fire" - another dance floor winner. The 3 some ride the mystery train to " Memphis Town" managing to mention and pay tribute to 8+ classic Sun songs in just one trip ! see website”

" Come to Texas as soon as you can! We need some Rock'A'dees over here! " Jimbo Wallace, The Reverend Horton Heat.
