I Am Waiting For My Father

I am waiting for my Father
and the mansion He has promised me
though it seems so far away sometimes
I know that I will see
A day where there will be no sorrow
where all my pain will be washed away
and His Son will shine
I am waiting for my Father

I can see Him in the distance
I can feel Him in my soul
His Spirit guides me as I go through this life
He tell me keep holding on
no matter what this life may hand you
I am always by your side
so I hold onto His promise
I am waiting for my Father

I am waiting for my Father
though the forest can get lost in the trees
and the clouds can hide away the Son
He is still guiding me
I will walk beside still waters
I will see my Savior face to face
when I've run my race
I am waiting for my Father
