I came across a concept that will test my moral sense
And end my fleeting victories at someone else’s expense
I spent a lifetime taking from this pseudo perfect dance
It may take an ancient school to give the world a second chance

I’m doing something special, it changes everything I knew
Cause what I took away from life, it had to come through you
Ubuntu is to life as the strings to my guitar
It’s simple message is “I am because you are”
I’m only a man

There’s a better way than this insanity

The less we have to fight for, we won’t have to see our children die
We will raise each other up; it will be our common plan
