Now at 23, Robert aka ‘Des’ writes, sings and produces all his songs. He is trained classically with voice lessons from a young age at the famed University of Santo Tomas Royal Conservatory of Music in Manila, Philippines. ‘Des’ was born in the Philippines and raised in Toronto. His very first instrument was a ukulele, then guitar, piano, then drums. After graduating from university, Robert ‘Des’ studied Audio Engineering at Trebas Institute in Toronto and created his own recording studio - 7D Entertainment. Since then, Robert Desmond Band continues to quickly gain many thousands of loyal fans across Canada, over the Internet and around the world!
