Robbins & Wheeler are seasoned veterans of studio and stage. They met in 1997 while playing on a studio demo session and started a collaboration shortly after. Published songwriters and ASCAP members Robbins & Wheeler have a mission to create music that is true to the rich heritage of country music, yet has an original sound and contemporary feel. “Our creative process is based on mutual respect for each others talent and what we both contribute to a project” states Robbins. As Wheeler confirms “We draw from our experiences and write songs, produce and arrange our material in a way that is varied and pleasing without replicating others. The first CD release, “Everyone Needs A Song” yielded four hit singles on independent country radio stations throughout the United States. The first single “Carry Me Away” hit the number three spot on the charts and remained there for five weeks. The next three releases, “Alone With You” “Ghost Of James Dean” and “Nothing But Love On Our Mind” all charted to the number one position. Robbins & Wheeler have been privileged to work with some of Nashville's most respected people, producer /publisher songwriter Mr. Scott Turner, producer and Big Band Hall of Fame member, Mr. Cliff Ayers and the legendary promoter Mr. Mike Kelly. The latest CD from Robbins & Wheeler on Merle Head Records is “Bring It Back”. The first single from the album, “Where's The Country Music” is currently being played on national country radio stations as well as many internet radio venues throughout the world.
