Don't put your confidence in powerful people there is no help for you there, their breathing stops and they return to the earth and in a moment their plans disappear

But happy are the ones who have the God of Abraham to help them those whose hope is in the Lord their God. He's the one who made the heavens earth the seas and all that's in them the One who keeps His promise forever

The Lord gives justice to the crushed and food to all the hungry ones it's He who sets the prisoners free. The Lord who opens blinded eyes he also lifts the burdens high from those whose backs are bent beneath their loads

The Lord He reigns forever He is king in every generation He frustrates the plans of the wicked. The Lord who loves the righteous He protects the foreigner among us He cares for the orphan and widow
