The Kookaburra's calling,

It hides within our egos,
dark thoughts they manifests.
Greed is its one projection,
but time is the illusion it knows best.

The light has cast a shadow,
now the black dog has come to play.
The trickster is amongst us,
and within our minds is where it lay.
The light is only in the now,
the shadow lurks in time,
Our thoughts are under its control,
but denial is value of our true crime.

Depression is a state of pain,
our thoughts trapped in the past.
Anxiety grips us once again,
now are thoughts are future cast.
The moment is the only place
god's conscious can exist.
Shadows dwell in the other plain,
from the depth of man's abyss.

The land is crying out in pain,
the desert's taking ground.
And plants are screaming out the same,
but mankind can't hear a sound.
The shadow plays the trickster,
the illusion is its game.
As our mother dies right in front our eyes,
the denial is our greatest shame
