Rio Duende is an electric jazz trio channelled by composer/guitarista Geoffrey Escandon. Performances are a zesty blend of latin jazz and classic surf rock instrumentals. With fine tone and chromatic wit, Rio Duende's sound calls out to the spirits, magic and fire.

Geoffrey Escandon on electric guitar has had many influences including most guitar heroes, jazz giants, and underground savants. Geoffrey mixes it all up, often putting his own unique stamp on popular favorites.
Rio Duende is brought to life with the help of Gary Parra on traps. Gary is a veteran drummer of the legendary group Cartoon, and has over 35 years of creativity in jazz and rock under his belt.
